The Team

After making their marks in the fields of business and technology, Bobby Tharian and Sajith Amma together founded 2nd Half Productions in 2019 for one reason - a pure passion for filmmaking.

They started their movie journey together in 2013 and were focused on helping filmmakers maximize their revenues through scripting designing and audience sentiment analysis.

Bobby Tharian has a business background in Marine export and he is the son of Mr KT Tharian – one of the founders of the first press club in India.

Sajith Amma

Founder / Director

Sajith Amma, a technology enthusiast and a movie-buff has co-founded the first campus startup MobMe Wireless Solution, from Kerala. His new startup Volcano Inc - a metaverse of movies platform, for future movie innovations.

Fast-Paced Political Thriller

2nd Half Productions first movie, Higuita is a fast-paced, political thriller drama that shows the rebirth of a regular easy-going man when he gets assigned to the impossible of task of protecting one of the firebrand leaders of left-wing politics in Kannur, a place originally known for its heated and violent political culture.

7+ years of experience

After being part of the industry for over 7 years, silently being responsible for super hits, Bobby and Sajith found fortune in Hemanth Nair’s script for Higuita – making it 2nd half production's first independent production venture.

90% of directing is casting!

We knew the truth that casting is everything!. The movie is created on a huge canvas with national-award-winning cast and crew, 5 gripping narration and strong music (rock folks). With a relatable, realistic and sarcastic political backdrop, Higuita also highlights the culture and heritage of Kannur.

End of the day, movies are always fantasies and entertainers. Higuita proves to be a 100 percentage thrilling entertainer that holds the viewer on the edge of their seats till the final seconds.

Current Roadmap

Higuita, our first movie will be hitting theatre in Dec 2022. In 2023 2nd Half is coming up with another exciting 3 projects.

We are a bit serious! The movie is the only art form which uses, acting, dancing, singing, music, sound, visual medium, editing, designing, titling, lyrics, artwork, manager work, and coordination.

Script Designing

The current movie industry demands proper script designers to well craft the movie in an acceptable way to common people. 2nd Half team members have more than 6 years of experience in designing movie scripts for various movies.

General Myths

There is no category like youth movies, campus movies, or serious movies. If we craft the story/concept in the right way, every movie is for everyone, there is no categorisation.
